I neglected to mention, my great excitement earlier this week when the 2009 Limousin calfs from Thorndean Farm, Cowbeech appeared in the field behind the recreation ground.


Last year, after a few weeks of getting used to humans and dogs, they proved a friendly bunch and let me photograph and draw them.
