Squeaky Clean

All is forgotten about the first estate agent and our lost year.
We have two sets of people interested in buying our property, both have properties to sell...
There are also two sets of people coming for a second viewing this week.
Wish us luck.
Mr PWP is in cleaning heaven.
I would like to hurl paint at a wall and build wobbily messy towers of paper. My time will come...

London Calling

We rang our bell at 8.12am.
For 20 years my job in Brighton and Hove was to involve individuals and communities in urban regeneration projects: gardens, sports facilities, festivals, housing...
So I loved the Olympic Opening Ceremony for its politics of participation.
It is reviewed here

Rye Art Galleries

We started with a walk to look at the Waders Pool at Rye Harbour.
I considered the artists working outside in gales and torrential rain, before heading for the sofa at Avocet Gallery and a game of ball with the small hairy hound.
Then the annual delivery of greeting cards to Strand Quay

Battle Scarecrow Festival 2012

Obviously all the scarecrows are fabulous.
But these swimmers with their yellow hats and blue goggles just make me laugh out loud.
East Sussex, always bursting with creativity...

We have popped out of the Ark to walk, whenever the sun shines.

Woof Woof

Everything was perfect.
The hanging and hosting, Pimms, nibbles, visitors and beautiful music.
I resisted taking home a ceramic hound, just.
I love David Fawcett's paintings.
It is all here in West Sussex until September 1st at Green Tree Gallery
Keep an eye out for the Southern Lurcher Rescue collection tin!

Our House

Our house has been up for sale with Crane and Co for a month.
We have had viewings each week and two second viewings!
Fingers crossed.
