Daisy, Daisy

I have sketchbooks from years gone by bursting with flowers. This sketch is a windowsill at Candlelight Cottage B&B, Cricketing Lane, Herstmonceux, where we stayed for a few months in 2007 whilst builders renovated our new home. This week I am working on a still life, using the sketch of the flowers and painting on a canvas already layered in grey. With cerulean blue, burnt sienna and white oil paint.
