Today I am working in my studio, snug and garden, forming a trail of small paintings. I had created a clear floor space in the snug to add more layers to my three large paintings, our hounds had other plans, finding the concrete very cooling. I started using wide edged canvas when customers asked if they could buy my paintings without their beautiful hand painted frames. So an essential task for today is to paint the edges a warm grey.
