Yes we are lucky. Our cottage dates back to 1727. We have photos from 1900 when it was used as Herstmonceux Village Stores. In the 60's it was famous as Angears Sweet Factory, we have some jars of the sweets, trapdoors in the floors and lots of the older people in the village used to work here. In the 90's it was The Old Clock Shop. I think everyone is keen to know what will come after us, when we sell!
It's always nice to know a bit of history! especially if it's something good, as now you know that this space was always filled with love.
