What a fascinating film Anna, so solemn in its delivery. Very much of its time wasn't it? I have heard of Joan Eardley but her paintings have not registered with me until this. I'll be going off to find out more about her paintings of children. That intense concentration in her face coupled with such assertive brushwork was incredible. I've also never heard of Robin Phillipson and loved his use of colour so he also will be added to my 'explore further' list. Thanks for the insight. Lesley.
I just love the BBC speaking voice.
