Hi Chloe I bought two huge sheets of normal plywood from Wickes and then my framer cut it into 25cm square pieces. Everyone has told me since, that I should have bought it from a timber merchant who is happy to cut it up for a small charge. I have primed it with three coats of Winsor and Newton White Gesso Primer and these are my first test paintings, to see whether the paints sinks a bit. They dry very quickly.
Aw, lovely painting :) May I ask where you source your plywood from? Is it specially for painting or just normal plywood? :)

Hi Anna, thank you for that, I shall have to give some a try one day! :)
