  1. A Camellia was the first thing we bought for our garden when we moved here 10yrs ago. The excitement of seeing it with 19 buds! The anger, one Sunday morning, of realising that a squirrel was eating his way through the lot!!!
Luckily it's grown well, and is promising a fine show thanks to all the rain last year.

  2. Our front garden is protected from some of the winds by a huge one, about 15ft across. The buds all look as if they might flower and then it snows... The leaves have gone a bit yellow, so am feeding it by crawling underneath the lowest branches! I'll keep my eyes peeled for squirrels.
