Big Beach School Session 4 October 2018

Big Beach School Session 4 was held at 'Sunny West' Winchelsea Beach. The lesson was 'Expressive Mark Making' using fingers, sticks and large decorators brushes with acrylic paint, aiming to create gestures and marks to capture the essence and feeling of a subject. Working outdoors on a sunny day was in itself a challenge. As usual Elsbeth made a delicious lunch and to end there was a feedback session where everyone reflected on what they had learnt through the weeks. It has been a dream come true to teach at the beach, the main source of inspiration for my paintings.
